RCB Finally Roars! Spinmatch Live Cricket Witnesses History

After years of waiting, Royal Challengers Bengaluru have finally done it! The Spinmatch Live Cricket target market watched in awe as RCB edged beyond Punjab Kings in a very close call.

Virat Kohli, the man, the parable, the run device, smashed 657 runs and stood third on the Orange Cap list. But this wasn’t a one-guy show. Rajat Patidar led brilliantly. Josh Hazlewood picked up 22 wickets when it mattered most this season. And in the final, Krunal Pandya’s 2/17 earned him the Player of the Match.

The season started with them, the second half of this season, after the short pause, started with them, and finally, they completed the season. They broke a lot of records this year. They have not lost a single away match. No team has accomplished this. They truly deserve the love and respect.

From the 2nd in the points table to the champions, RCB showed that teamwork truly makes the dream a reality!

So Close, Yet So Far—Punjab Kings’ Heartbreak

Points: 19 9 NRR: 0.372
This team topped the league with a higher net run rate. Under Shreyas Iyer, PBKS played formidable and fearless cricket. Prabhsimran Singh’s 536 runs lit up many nights, at the same time as Arshdeep Singh (21 wickets) and Chahal (16 wickets) kept things tight with the ball.

However, in the very last, they met a determined RCB who refused to let go this time. It changed into a remarkable campaign for PBKS; however, the identity nonetheless slipped through by a very slight margin. They silently climbed the ladder, marking their power in each game. They are the runners of this season. Shreyas Iyer said that it had not been completed fully; next season, we will be back.

The Playoff Contenders:

Gujarat Titans (GT)—A Strong Show, But Missed the Final Step

Points: 18 (9 Wins, 5 losses) – Gujarat Titans, known for their energy, had to lose in opposition to MI in the eliminator. They came third this season, IPL 2025. This time, the team had a well-prepared crew. The standout performer not just in the team but in the entire season was Sai Sudharsan, who grabbed the Orange Cap for this year with an outstanding 759 runs. The player of the season award was given to Prasidh Krishna, who took the Purple Cap with an amazing 25 wickets. Shubman Gill, the captain of this season, scored a tremendous 650 runs. Despite their brilliance and great overall performance, they were eliminated in the Eliminator, missing out on Qualifier 2.

Mumbai Indians (MI)—The Resurgent Powerhouse

Points: 16 (eight Wins, 6 Losses, zero no result)—qualified for Playoffs (4th)

Mumbai Indians, after a disappointing 2024 season, made a strong comeback in IPL 2025. The return to form of key players and impactful performances helped them stabilize the fourth playoff spot. They came in Qualifier 2, facing the Punjab Kings; however, their journey ended there. Suryakumar Yadav was the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the season. He showcased his match-winning contributions with 717 runs. Jasprit Bumrah (18 wickets) remained an essential part of their bowling attack.

The Mid-Table Finishers:

Delhi Capitals (DC)—Flashes of Brilliance, Lacked Consistency

Points: 15 (7 Wins, 6 Losses, 1 No result)—finished fifth

Initially, they were at the top of the table. However, they struggled later to win matches, and it was a close call to enter the playoffs. The acquisition of KL Rahul (538 runs) did offer stability at the top; however, the team crumbled under pressure. They completed it on the 5th.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH)—The Explosive, however, Inconsistent Unit

Points: thirteen (6 Wins, 7 Losses, 1 No result)—finished 6th

Sunrisers Hyderabad endured their aggressive batting approach, specifically due to a few high-scoring encounters. Despite some dominant wins and promising individual performances, they lacked the consistency to push for a playoff spot.

Their bowling assault, often a strength, confronted demanding situations in containing opposition batters on flatter tracks. Pat Cummins had strong leadership, and Kamindu Mendis was performing well. But the team failed to perform better during the middle overs.

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG)—Underperforming Despite Star Power

Points: 12 (6 Wins, 8 Losses, 0 No result)—finished seventh

Lucknow Super Giants, notwithstanding having a sturdy squad on paper and the much-talked-about acquisition of Rishabh Pant, had a disappointing season. They completed in 7th, failing to live up to the expectations that surrounded them. While Mitchell Marsh (627 runs) had a stellar season with the bat and Nicholas Pooran hit the Most Sixes (40).

The Bottom Dwellers:

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) – The Defending Champions’ Fall

Points: 12 (five Wins, 7 Losses, 2 No Results)  Finished 8th

The defending champions, Kolkata Knight Riders, had a season to forget. After their triumph in 2024, KKR struggled to bring back their form. While they had two abandoned matches, their normal overall performance fell below par. And their bowling, despite the presence of experienced campaigners like Sunil Narine (12 wickets), couldn’t continually stem the drift of runs. Finishing eighth marked an enormous drop for the Kolkata franchise.

Rajasthan Royals (RR) – A Season to Forget

Points: 8 (four Wins, 10 Losses, zero No Result)- Finished ninth

Rajasthan Royals continued a difficult IPL 2025 season, finishing second last at the points table. Despite the heroics of Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who was provided the Super Striker of the Season for his explosive hitting, and Yashasvi Jaiswal (559 runs), the crew struggled till the last.

Their bowling unit, regardless of the presence of skilled names, regularly did not shield totals or pick up wickets at the right time. This season will serve as a robust reminder for RR to think again about their strategies for the future.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) – An Uncharacteristic Last Place Finish

Points: eight (4 Wins, 10 Losses, 0 No Result)- Finished tenth (Last)

Perhaps the largest shock of IPL 2025 was the performance of the Chennai Super Kings. Known for their consistent playoff appearances and tactical brilliance, CSK finished at the last of the table, an unusual result for the 5-time champions. While they won the Fairplay Award, their on-area performance struggled. Their bowling, Noor Ahmad’s (24 wickets) spectacular season, often lacked the bite to trouble opposition batsmen, and their batting unit, at the same time, as shown flashes of brilliance, could not constantly post competitive totals or chase down.

Individual Brilliance:

While team performances saw a blended bag of fortunes, the brilliance of a few individuals shines brightly in the course of IPL 2025.

  • Orange Cap Winner: Sai Sudharsan (GT) – 759 runs
  • Purple Cap Winner: Prasidh Krishna (GT) – 25 wickets
  • Most Valuable Player (MVP): Suryakumar Yadav (MI) – 717 runs
  • Emerging Player of the Season: Sai Sudharsan (GT)
  • Super Striker of the Season: Vaibhav Suryavanshi (RR)
  • Most Sixes: Nicholas Pooran (LSG) – 40 sixes
  • Most Fours: Sai Sudharsan (GT) – 88 fours
  • Most Dot Balls: Mohammed Siraj (GT) – 151 dots
  • Catch of the Season: Kamindu Mendis (SRH)
  • Fairplay Award: Chennai Super Kings

IPL 2025 delivered the best this time. The 18th year will never be forgotten. It has made history. As Royal Challengers Bengaluru rejoice in their long-awaited win, other groups might be strategizing for IPL 2026, aiming to have a better squad and perform better.
